Sonia Contera is a Professor of Biological Physics at the University of Oxford. Her research explores the interface of physics, nanotechnology, and biology, focusing on the development of nanomaterials for biomedical applications. She has also held leadership roles, including Co-Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on Nanotechnology for Medicine, and is a Senior Research Fellow at Green Templeton College.
