

Humberto Bustince is a Spanish computer scientist and professor at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA). He specializes in artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, and approximate reasoning. Bustince has authored over 250 scientific articles and has been recognized as one of the most influential researchers globally. He has served as editor-in-chief of journals such as Mathware & Soft Computing and Axioms, and is a member of the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and Fuzzy Sets and Systems. In 2019, he received the National Computer Science Award José García Santesmases for his extensive professional career.
